This post is to gather feedback, ideas, and possibly find anyone who wants to contribute to development of the app.
Status
The app is a MVP that was released in December 2023, and was part of the grant funding from Sia, and has had basically no demand or traffic since as there has been no funding or time that has been able to be invested into it.
Goals
The core ideas of the app has been to source news from git repos that act as static sites and deploy them to a hosting portal, powered by Sia. These repos would be whitelisted and ran by web3 projects in the space.
The intention is to create a community-first trusted new source that is also transparent.
State
The app being a MVP, does the absolute minimum needed, but a lot of love is needed and the community who wants to use it should also give their input on what direction it should go. I will state however, in my opinion, im not really interested in anything token-related on the tech or the news, and generally any content rules on the community forum would apply to news posts as well. If someone can give an argument otherwise, I will listen, but I feel that opens up pandora's box.

I will have 0 time this year to push the app forward, and I feel starting with the community matters much more.
